When a ELS quits or is dismissed from your agency, it is important to deactivate their account immediately.
Below are two common scenarios to help you learn which status you will need to update to inactive:
Scenario 1: An ELS is moving to a different county, and will be working with a site in that area.
Staff members can work at multiple agencies, so when they stop working within your agency, their role status at your agency needs to be made inactive. This will give them access to DAISY, but not to your site's data.
To do this, add the role end date and update the role status to inactive.
Scenario 2: A staff member got a new job opportunity, and will depart the agency next month.
When a staff member is no longer working at your agency and will not be working at an agency that implements a ParentChild+ model, their role status and account status will need to be made inactive. This will deactivate their DAISY account.
In addition to the above steps to update the role status, you will also have to edit the account status to inactive as well.
